Karate4schools a professional company operating within schools, looking to foster sports links with schools and provide karate tuition whilst promoting sport, health and fitness awareness in young people.

Our aim to allow school children of all ages the opportunity to experience the martial art of karate in a familiar and comfortable setting.
Karate is an ideal sport for young people as it builds confidence as well as coordination and fitness.

As respect is an integral part of karate, this is explained using the etiquette of karate to promote respect for others. Learning to treat others, as you would wish them to treat you.

Karate is a structured activity where children can work on their own within the framework of the group, making it suitable for all. We find this structure is great for confidence building and social skills for quieter children who are less likely to play team sports. As karate is, in essence an individual sport / art you can work at your own pace making it ideal for children of all shapes sizes and fitness levels.

Obviously safety is our priority both in and out of the class room. Children will be told about the application of karate in self-defence situations however the course will concentrate more on sport related physical skill.

We offer short term, taylor made after school or breakfast clubs, designed to reinforce previous knowledge and motor skills, providing children with fun involvement in physical activity. Students should feel a real sense of self-accomplishment as achievable goals set at the start are realised.

Pupils will learn the basic techniques and skills of karate in a safe a friendly environment. Integrating them into karate-based games will then reinforce these skills.

In addition to the physical skills, karate etiquette and terminology is covered so children will experience another language and culture.

On the final day of the course students will each receive a Karate4schools certificate and a student of the week trophy will be presented.
Everyone will also receive information about there nearest karate club and associated literature about other sports suitable for their age range.

We hope by allowing children to discover and experience different physical activities this will prompt them to become more involved in sport and health.
